We are glad that you have taken an interest in your safety and the safety of others around you and hope the information on our site helps contribute to a higher level of safety in your family and community. Every year hundreds of people are either killed or injured at crossings all across the nation. Even though the number of deaths and injuries is declining, more needs to be done to make sure innocent people don't lose their lives at railroad crossings. That's what we are here for. To provide information to you the public on how to prevent accidents before they happen. We also investigate accidents after the fact. Unfortunately, accidents do happen. When they do happen we make sure another of its kind "never" happens again.
